Warehouse Operative- Forklift Driver

We have a great opportunity for a responsible Warehouse Operative to join our busy and fast-growing team here with us at Albion Fine Foods. For this position we have 1 Vacancy available to fill. We run a 24/7 operation and our warehouse operatives on the day shift are our replenishment team.

You will be based in our warehouse, where it is a busy fast-paced environment. Your job will be to ensure the shelves in the warehouse are fully stocked and ready to go for the night team to pick the orders ready for the drivers to deliver the next morning. The role is essential to the smooth running of the business and ensures our customers get the right orders. Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Moving stock around, stacking shelves, and general warehouse duties - in both the ambient and chilled environments as required (full PPE provided)
• Unloading of delivery vehicles from external suppliers, and moving to the allocated bays in the warehouse
• Maintaining a clean, tidy, and organised work environment
• Ensuring accurate stock levels and conducting stock counts as required
• Rotating stock, in particular date sensitive products to ensure minimal waste
• Compliance with company Health & Safety requirements

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a Flexi-Forklift License (essential)
• Has Warehouse experience (desirable)
• Is computer literate
• Has excellent communication skills
• Has an eye for detail
• Can work both independently and collaboratively
• Works well and remains focused under pressure
• Has good time management
• Is target driven

Hours: 8am-5am (5 shifts across a 7-day week, with some weekend working)
