Nardín was born 25 years ago as a company to continue the legacy of their predecessors who arrived from Sicily at the beginning of the last century and taught them the art of salting anchovy.

In Nardín they elaborate, only, the campaign products of the Cantabrico. With an always limited production, adapting respecting what the sea gives them.

Their reason to exist is to produce high quality products, respecting the campaigns and counting on the labour of their close people. Managing with respect all the resources at their disposal.

Conservas Nardin only buys anchovies caught in the Cantabrian Sea; the fish destined to be used for their smoked anchovies are brined, rather than salted, and then cold smoked whole over beechwood before being filleted and then tinned in olive oil. They are tender and moist, mildly fishy and lightly smoky, truly delicious.
