Between 25 - 30g
Directions For Use
Wash before use. Red Vein Sorrel micro cress is always noted for its look and taste. As well as being best suited for fresh preparations, it can be used alongside its mature herb which is sometimes cooked like spinach or used in larger dishes. Micro Red Vein brings a bright and tangy tartness to many dishes and it can also be used as a great palette cleanser for set menus. Complimentary flavours include, hard aged cheeses, cream, eggs, fish, caviar, oysters and lentils. As well as, potatoes, spinach, onion, shallot, mustard, parsley, tarragon, mint, chervil and nutmeg. When using this micro herb in your culinary creations, add it at the end of your cooking to prevent it from wilting. Pure Greens recommends making a creamy sorrel sauce using red vein sorrel micro cress, pairing it with salmon.
