Food Technologist

Location: Hybrid, Crossways, Dartford (DA2 6QB)

Hours: Full-time, 8am–5pm

Salary: Up to £28,000

Are you passionate about food quality and safety? We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Quality/Technical Assistant to support our Quality Assurance Team in maintaining ISO 22000 certification and enhancing our Quality Management System.

This brand-new position offers the opportunity to grow and develop alongside the role, making it perfect for someone eager to take on new challenges and responsibilities.

Your key Responsibilities will include:

• Oversee and improve our Quality Management System to meet customer and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and review HACCP plans, supplier documentation, and product specifications.
• Conduct internal audits and support ISO accreditation processes.
• Coordinate traceability systems, product recalls, and customer complaint resolutions.
• Provide technical guidance on legislation, labelling, and food safety best practices.
• Represent Albion Fine Foods during audits and customer visits.

What We’re Looking For:

• A degree or equivalent in Food Science or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, HACCP, ISO standards, and quality assurance practices.
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and spreadsheets.
