The Gourmet Collection soft date is a Deglet Nour (“finger of light”), a name given in relation to its elongated shape and translucent color. This variety is grown in Algeria and Tunisia. The Gourmet Collection's unique "Full Flavor" rehydration process guarantees you all year round a melting flesh with a sweet taste of honey. These dates are "natural", that is to say without added sugar. In order to facilitate its use, the Gourmet Collection soft dates are offered pitted.
